A mountain-bike tour through the magnificent alpine landscape of the Silvretta is something special.  

Route:

The Silvretta-Bike-Safari starts at Partenen. First of all, one travels taking the bike on the Vermuntbahn to the mountain station to Trominier. From there one goes on through the unique Vermunt Water Experience Tunnel and via the Trominier-Vermunt mountain way to the lake Vermuntsee. Arriving upon the Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße, one cycles up to the highest point of the Bielerhöhe pass at over 2,000 m above sea-level and looks forward to the following descent to Partenen or Galtür.

Another version of the bike route leads over the road Kopserstraße to the lake Kopssee and down through the Ganifer to Partenen.

“Sport Stöckl” in Partenen is to be recommended as a bicycle hire shop close to the Vermuntbahn.
