Enjoy the new slowness!
In the past, walking with snow shoes was the ideal way of getting around in winter, because you hardly sink into the deep snow when wearing snow shoes. Now, winter and snowshoe hiking has developed into a winter sport. Especially for non-skiers, this sport is a wonderful alternative way to explore the winter mountain landscape.
The 8 km long winter hiking route to the Wiesbadener Hütte is particularly popular.
It is not the summit but the proverbial way that is the goal here.
Our tip: guided snowshoe hikes with the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe skiing and cross-country skiing school: snowshoes are provided, but sticks are to be brought along.
