Mountain biking

Mountain biking in the high mountains of the Montafon

The Silvretta-Bike-Safari is an absolute must for all cycling fans: a spectacular natural backdrop, the famous Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße and all of this at more than 2,000 m above sea level.

Silvretta-Bike-Safari

From Partenen, via the Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße leads past the Vermuntsee with 32 hairpin bends to the destination: the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe. The highest point of the famous Alpenstraße.

At 2,032 m above sea level you will be rewarded with a breathtaking natural scenery - with a view of the highest mountain in Vorarlberg, the Piz Buin with 3,312 m. With this fantastic view, the batteries recharge themselves for the return trip. The way back to Partenen leads us through the wild-romantic Ganifer.

The tour is marked on the following overview map.

Undisturbed mountain biking pleasure

Beyond the Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße, the trail over the Ganifer to Kopssee attracts numerous mountain bikers. The most special thing: cars are absolutely banned here with the exception of plant traffic!
