Climate Change
At the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe, concrete sustainability goals are extremely important to us. Why? Quite simply, if we don't take active steps to combat climate change, we can expect a significant rise in temperatures, which will result in fewer frost days in winter , less snow and more extreme weather events such as heavy rainfall and droughts.
This will have an impact on how the flora and fauna in our region develops - and of course on whether and how we can organize future mountain activities.
Climate-neutrality
It is up to all of us to make a joint contribution to protecting and preserving our environment. At the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe, we try to do this in a very concrete way by keeping greenhouse gas emissions as low as possible.
We also want to give you the chance to make your trip to the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe climate-friendly and sustainable. Get to know your options and spend your time on the mountain in harmony with nature! One thing is certain: you will be richly rewarded.
HVO-Diesel
Thanks to the switch to HVO diesel, our snow groomers have been particularly climate-friendly since the winter of 2024/25. This allows us to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and make a further contribution to sustainable snow management.
