Here you will find the current opening and operating times for the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe.
Summer 2026
Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße
The Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße will remain closed until 2030 on the Vorarlberg Side - further information. The Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße on the Tyrolean side will reopen to public traffic from Thursday, 4 June 2026.
Vermuntbahn & tunnel bus
In operation from June 20 - October 4, 2026.
- 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and from 1.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
- Last ascent from Partenen to Bielerhöhe: 4.30 p.m.
- Last descent from Bielerhöhe to Partenen (tunnel bus): 5.00 p.m.
- no bike transport
The car park at the Vermuntbahn valley station is currently closed due to construction works. Please use the car park at the Tafamuntbahn on the opposite side of the road instead.
Tafamuntbahn
June 4 - October 18, 2026
- Daily operation from 08.30 a.m. - to 12.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. - 4.45 p.m. (last descent)
- For tours to the Versalspitze, the cable car runs from 08.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. to mountain station II
- no bike transport
Travelling with a dog
Dog transport is free of charge on the cable car. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times while in the station area and when traveling on the cable car. They must also wear a muzzle.

The Restaurant Silvrettasee will remain closed in summer 2026.

The natural ice surface of the Silvrettasee is closed to all traffic!

Travelling with a dog
