Current information
The road connection on the Vorarlberg side remains closed. Persistent rainfall is delaying the safety measures and clean-up work. Work is continuing to open the road by the end of next week (week 32). However, the situation depends heavily on the weather conditions over the next few days and will be reassessed on an ongoing basis. Access from the Tyrolean side to the Bielerhöhe and Vermuntsee is still possible without restrictions. The restaurants on the Bielerhöhe are open. Due to the Arlberg Giro, the Ganifer road is expected to be closed in both directions on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
The shore path on the western shore Silvrettasee is closed due to the risk of falling rocks - it is not possible to walk around it. The closure follows directly after the Kunstraum2032silvretta.
