Due to new geological findings, the Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße will remain closed for the 2025 season.
As an alternative, the Vermuntbahn (including the tunnel bus) will begin operating from 9 August 2025, providing access to the Bielerhöhe from the Vorarlberg side. Further information on the current situation can be found at the link below.
The lakeside path along the western shore of the Silvrettasee is closed due to the risk of rockfall – a full circuit is not possible. The closure begins immediately after the Kunstraum2032silvretta.
