Snowshoe hike to the Silvrettasee

Early in the morning the Vermuntbahn in Partenen carries you up in comfort. After an impressive ride on the tunnel bus, the snowshoe hiking experience begins. After a comprehensive introduction, you set off together with your Montafon hiking guide on your way to the Silvretta reservoir at over 2,000 metres above sea level, covering an altitude difference of around 250 metres.

Route: Depending on the weather and snow situation

Duration: approx. 5,5 hours (pure walking time: approx. 2,5 hours)

Refreshementstop: restaurant piz buin or silvrettahaus

Age limit: 6 years (minimum shoe size 36)

Equipment:
Winter sports clothing
Hiking boots or sturdy winter boots are required
Bring a rucksack with snacks/food and/or drinks as well as rain and sun protection

Hint:
No price reduction for bringing your own snowshoes and poles
The hike will proceed no matter what the weather. In case of any changes, the guests will be informed directly by the hiking guide in good time.

The hiking guides reserve the right to change the programme if necessary for reasons such as poor conditions, avalanche danger etc. or lack of fitness of the participants.
